Fred
Bishop
Auctioneer/Realtor
Georgia |
A
native Atlantan, Fred Bishop is a Vietnam veteran and holds an
Associate of Arts degree from Clayton College as well as a Bachelors
degree in Business from Georgia State University. Fred has been
active in the real estate business for over 20 years in home building
and sales. He joined RE/MAX of Newnan/Peachtree City in 1991. He is a
member of the Georgia Association of Realtors as well as the coweta
Board of Realtors. Fred received is Colonel designation from
Nashville Auction School in 1994 and soon thereafter become part of
RE/MAX Group Auctioneers.
Fred
also owns and operates F.W. Bishop Auction Company in Newnan which
specializes in antiques and estates at public outcry. His
conventional real estate practice working with buyers and sellers is
primarily in Coweta and Fayette Counties; however, his auction
business carries him from Florida to Tennessee and Kentucky. Fred has
a long standing love for music, and he plays several instruments.
(Some say auctioneers and entertainers are cut from the same cloth.)
Fred is an avid outdoorsman and private pilot. Fred enjoys working
with people and properties of all types - certainly a winning
combination for the real estate auction profession.
Throughout
his career, Fred has sold millions of dollars worth of real estate.
This experience has shown him that the traditional methods of selling
real estate are not always the best methods. While the auction has
often been associated with distressed property in the past, many are
recognizing its benefits in today's market as the "method of
choice." Fred knows these benefits and would like to share them
with you. |
