and full-time in the auction business since 1973, Mike Loftin enjoys
a breadth of experience from almost every conceivable type of
auction. Representing clients from lenders to government agencies,
from courts to trustees, from Fortune 500 corporations to
individuals, he has managed, joint ventured and consulted with major
auction firms across the country. He is seasoned by over twelve
hundred auctions including office buildings, industrial parks,
investment properties, luxury homes, large acreage tracts, farms and
resort properties in twenty-four states, Washington D.C. and one
United States territory over the past quarter century. He joined
RE/MAX Group Auctioneers in 1998; he is a licensed auctioneer and
real estate broker throughout the Southeast.
Mike
is past Chairman and President of the Georgia Auctioneers
Association as well as the National Auctioneers License Law Officials
Association. He was appointed to the Georgia Auctioneers Commission
in 1984 and currently serves on the Real Estate Council of the
National Auctioneers Association. He is a graduate of the Certified
Auctioneers Institute of Indiana University, Nashville Auction School
and holds a B.B.A. from Stetson University in Deland, Florida.
Mike
has received recognition and awards as a champion auctioneer,
benefit auctioneer for numerous charities, as well as seminar leader
and instructor for numerous state and national auctioneer
associations and auction schools.
