Weyman
Tison has been exclusively involved in the marketing and evaluation
of real estate, business assets, estate assets and other valuable
property since 1971. He is a licensed real estate broker, licensed
auctioneer in several states and a certified general real estate appraiser.
He
has marketed and/or valued property for the US Small Business
Administration, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Resolution
Trust Corporation, the Sears Company, numerous lenders, mortgage
companies, corporations, partnerships and individuals in Georgia, the
southeast and nationwide. In this capacity he has marketed and/or
appraised farmland, timberland, recreational property, investment
property, residential property and commercial property, as well as,
special use property. He also conducted the surplus property auctions
on behalf of the State of Georgia for 8 years as well as assisting in
the sale of surplus property on behalf of the State of Florida for 4 years.
He
served as 1979 President of Brunswick-Glynn County Board of Realtors
in Brunswick, GA as well as President of the Brunswick Exchange Club
during the same period of time. Additionally, he served as the
1979-1980 Regional Vice President of Georgia Association of Realtors.
He is a graduate of the Realtor Institute and holds the GRI
designation. He has completed 2 of the required 3 years at the
Certified Auctioneers Institute in Bloomington, IN and completes at
least 14 hours of continuing education for appraisal renewal purposes
each year.
Weyman
has conducted numerous charity auctions during his career raising
thousands of dollars for many worthwhile organizations. He has also
been an instructor at the Florida Auctioneer Academy, Orlando, FL.
